Featuring a modern shipping container bar and kitchen, plus outdoor bar leaners and picnic tables, this venue is made for relaxed all year round vibes. A permanent marquee provides indoor capacity for up to 120 guests, while the surrounding outdoor area expands the space even further.
Our friends at Terrace Catering & Events take care of the food and drinks, while the ZORB crew brings the good times, iconic activities, and the laughs. With one simple booking and invoice, it’s the easiest event you’ll plan all year.

Need a more serious option? We have a 90cm big screen TV, white board and full sound system. Book in a morning sales meeting or staff training and finish off with a fun activities and lunch.

Package Option 1: Dry Team Building + Pizza Grazing
Option One: $99.00 pp
A fun, low-pressure team building option that keeps everyone dry while still delivering plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and classic ZORB energy.
This package includes your choice of two epic dry team activities, followed by relaxed wood-fired pizza grazing and mini burger sliders. It’s ideal for groups who want something social, easy to take part in, and a little bit different — without needing a towel afterwards.
Great for corporate teams, conference groups, reward days, work social clubs, and mixed groups where not everyone wants to get wet.
Includes: Your choice of two dry team activities, wood-fired pizza grazing, mini burger sliders, use of THE VENUE social space, event coordination from the ZORB team, activities are optional for all participants, beverages available at an additional charge
Package Option 2: ZORB Team Building + BBQ Lunch
Option Two: $149.00 pp
A bigger team building experience for groups who want the option to add a bit more adventure to the day.
This package includes your choice of two epic team activities, with options to keep things dry or include wet ZORB activities. Afterwards, your group can relax and refuel with a barbecue lunch menu catered by Terrace.
It’s a great fit for teams looking for a more complete Rotorua experience — part adventure, part social catch-up, part excellent excuse to get out of the office.

THE VENUE Full & Half-Day Meeting Room Hire & Corporate Events:

Designed for daytime events that need a relaxed, private and practical Rotorua venue with room to meet, eat, gather and connect.
Day Hire gives you access to our marquee and outdoor social space during standard ZORB operating hours, with your room set, cleaned and ready to go.
Ideal for corporate groups, workshops, team days, presentations, lunches and casual daytime functions.
Includes: Use of The Venue during ZORB’s standard operating hours, marquee set-up in banquet or theatre style, tables, chairs, black tablecloths, access to the outdoor social area, caterer access, booking management, standard cleaning, rubbish removal, and an event coordinator on the day. Venue hire pricing does not include catering, beverages, entertainment, additional AV hire or ZORB activities unless included in a custom quote.
THE VENUE Evening Hire
5.00 pm – 10.00 pm from $1,500
A private evening venue with a fun, relaxed Rotorua feel. Evening Hire is perfect for con, corporate functions, networking events, casual dinners and social gatherings.
Evening Hire gives you access to our marquee and outdoor social space after ZORB’s standard operating hours, with your room set, cleaned and ready to go.
Ideal for corporate groups, parties, more formal evening functions, dinners and celebrations.
Includes: Venue set-up, access to the marquee and outdoor social area, caterer access, cleaning, rubbish removal and two ZORB event coordinators to help keep the night running smoothly. Venue hire pricing does not include catering, beverages, entertainment, additional AV hire or ZORB activities unless included in a custom quote.

Venue Hire Conditions
The Venue at ZORB is designed for corporate groups, team days, private dining, workshops, networking events, product launches, celebrations, and relaxed social occasions.
As we are an operating tourism attraction and family-friendly venue, we do not accept bookings for 21st birthday parties, 40th birthday parties, stag or hen parties, BYO alcohol events, or events where the main focus is heavy drinking. We work with preferred suppliers for catering, decorating/theming. Other providers or ‘self theming’ is not available.
ZORB reserves the right to decline bookings that are not considered suitable for the venue, site operations, health and safety requirements, licensing obligations, or ZORB’s brand standards.
T&Cs – not as exciting, but still really important.
- Prices are valid for bookings up until 30th March 2027.
- Bookings are essential (5 days prior for catering required).
- Cancellations within 7 days of event booking will incur a 50% fee.
- Final numbers must be advised 48 hours out of the event and this is what will be charged regardless of any decrease.
- Minimum numbers for a booking is 20 people.
- All our usual health and safety restrictions apply.
- Not available in conjunction with any other offer or discount, including Rotorua Locals rates.
- Venue hire, all rides, food and beverage packages must be paid for prior.
