• ZORB For Father’s Day

Get Dad A Gift He’ll Remember!

Skip the novelty necktie and another tool for the shed. Spend Father’s Day rolling, racing, sliding, and laughing till your sides hurt! We’ve got FOUR unique tracks that will be the highlight of the year. Not only that, we’ve got hot tubs, saunas, and, to top it all off, barista coffees and hot chocolates. I mean, you’d be crazy NOT to go to ZORB for Father’s Day!

If you’re looking for something a bit different, why not go all the way and make it REALLY different? Blend adventure, laughter, and fun for the whole family. ZORB Rotorua is one of the most iconic Kiwi inventions and a serious bucket list item. The secret? Everyone is good at it (or bad at it, either way it’s just as fun). That means there’s no pressure and no stress, just that side-splitting laughter you haven’t felt since you were a kid. Up to three people can ride in a ball, so dad and the kids can enjoy ZORB by riding together.

Dad will be buzzing when he goes back to the office. While his coworkers are talking about their weed eaters, he’ll be raving about zorbing.

ZORB Is Designed for Safety and Fun!

Everything has been designed, tested, and refined for over 20 years. We produce all of the ZORB balls on-site, and we are compliant with New Zealand’s Health and Safety at Work Act (Adventure Activities), which regulates adventure tourism in New Zealand. Children aged 5 and up can ride, and parents can be comfortable knowing that we take safety seriously.

Each ZORB ball has 40 litres of fresh water (replaced after each ride and warmed depending on the temperature) so you don’t flip, flop, go upside down, or tumble. Gravity does all the work as you slide your way down the hill!

FAQs From Families Visiting ZORB

Is ZORB safe for families?
ZORB is a family-friendly adventure. Children aged 5 and up are welcome to ride solo or with friends and family. Our tracks are supervised and our staff have first-aid training. We also have private changing rooms and hot tubs with views to relax in!

Is the water in the ZORB balls cold?
It depends on the weather! If it’s cold out, we warm the water up. If it’s warm outside, we keep it refreshing.

Can my kids ride with me?
Absolutely! Children aged 5 and up can ride solo or with up to 2 other people in each ZORB ball! There’s no minimum or maximum height.

Is it scary?
Most people who are nervous at the start come out laughing and screaming “I want to go again!” There’s no tumbling or free-falling. It’s more like a smooth slide rather than a bungy jump. Our staff explain everything to you and your group before you jump in so you know exactly what to expect.

Do you offer dry ZORB rides?
Not anymore. We used to do dry ZORB rides, but found that adding water made it way more fun. Each ZORB contains 40 litres of water, which sounds like a lot, but each ZORB ball is 3 metres tall! Bring a towel and a change of clothes.

Can kids with additional needs ride ZORB?
Absolutely. Our team is welcoming and inclusive. We recommend getting in touch before your visit so we can best accommodate your child’s needs and preferences.

What does Dad really want for Father’s Day this year? To spend time with the family while rolling down a hill in a giant inflatable ball. Duh!
