What is it Like to Ride Together?
Just you and your boo, side by side in a giant inflatable ball. What could be more romantic?
Being inside a ZORB is unlike anything else. You’ll roll, slosh, and slide down the hill — but you won’t go upside down or tumble. The water inside the ball keeps you at the bottom and ensures a smooth, comfortable ride.

Each of our tracks offers a completely different experience, from smooth and fast to twisty and playful.
Choose Your Tracks:
- Dual Straight:Straight and fast down the hill. With no twists or turns, this track gives you a great introduction to what the others have in store. Feeling competitive? You can even race — winner gets bragging rights.
- Sidewinder: The longest track in the world. Plenty of time to get to know your date as you slide through six corners and 350 metres of track!
- Pipeline: Featuring a unique arboreal tunnel, Pipeline starts off swervy and finishes with a fast straightaway.
- MEGA: Our tallest and fastest track. MEGA starts higher than the others and offers some of the best views in Rotorua before delivering a smooth, thrilling ride to the bottom!

Is ZORB romantic or full-on-adrenaline?
ZORB is a fun, enjoyable, and full of laughs. The shared experience is what makes in memorable and getting to enjoy time laughing together along with the downtime in the hot tubs and saunas make it an unforgettable experience!
How long does the experience take?
We typically recommend 1.5-3 hours to experience ZORB. This allows for time to get checked in, change, relax in the hot tubs, and enjoy your rides.
Can couples ride together?
As long as all participants are within the maximum weight limit (135kg) and the total weight of the ZORB is below 297kg, then couples can ride together!
What should we wear on a ZORB date?
Wear comfortable clothing and bring a change of swimwear and a towel. ZORB is a water activity, so you’ll get wet.
Is ZORB better during the day or evening for a date?
ZORB is great at any time of the day, rain or shine!
Do we need to be adventurous?
ZORB is a unique experience, but the ball does all the work. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy the ride!
