Education outside the classroom
ZORB is a popular destination for school groups and educational field trips when you are wondering what to see in Rotorua, offering study material for various types of projects that appeal to children of all ages. We are an active member of the Rotorua Education Network (REN) – a first-of-its-kind tourism collective solely dedicated to the education industry. All REN members have a curriculum-based educational component to their product or have an added value component to their core service, specifically developed for education groups – learn more about REN here.
The inventors and developers of the activity are owner/operators of ZORB and are available on site to talk about all aspects of their ideas and developments. We have a wealth of experience in developing a new and unique adventure tourism experience from scratch and creating a product, brand and activity that is now known throughout the world. We also have the ZORB factory onsite – custom made factory tours can also be arranged for a first hand behind the scenes insight in the manufacturing of our ZORB balls – truly NZ made!

Catered lunches from BBQ’s through to Pita Pit lunch options are also available to keep the kids hunger pains at bay. Alternatively, bring your own snacks and enjoy our terraced area for a picnic overlooking the park. Ride Restrictions
- All Riders must be 5 years of age and over.
- Maximum weight per person is 135KG or 297lb
Guests may not be able to participate if they have any of the following conditions; including high blood pressure, epilepsy, dislocations, pregnancy, heart conditions, back, neck or head injuries, lack of full body mobility, impairment due to the influence of alcohol or drugs, or any other physical or mental condition that may restrict your ability to safely ride.
